Elektrode pH Double Pore

The Double Pore pH Electrode is a maintenance-free combination pH electrode specifically designed for solid and semi-solid samples – with a puncture membrane and a pointed tip that is inserted directly into the sample. Two single liquid connectors (2-hole diaphragm) make diaphragm clogging virtually impossible – making the electrode a perfect fit for measurements in meat and cheese. The electrode is available in three variants, differing in the diameter of the shaft and the type of connection.

Application of Double Pore pH Electrode

The Double Pore pH electrode is designed for pH measurements in solid and semi-solid samples. The pointed tip allows the electrode to be inserted directly into the sample – the operator can take a measurement without first preparing the sample as a solution.

The product sheet lists the following uses: agar, soil, mayonnaise and cream, butter and cheese, meat, fruit and vegetables, protein solutions.

The choice of model depends on the type of samples tested and the available pH meter:

• Double Pore (standard, diameter 6 mm, 2-hole diaphragm) - a model dedicated to meat and cheese. Two diaphragm holes minimize the risk of diaphragm clogging when working with samples containing fat, proteins, and other food ingredients.
• Double Pore Slim (4.6 mm diameter, single-hole diaphragm) - Thinner shank for jobs that require smaller electrode diameters.
• Double Pore Knick (diameter 6 mm, single-hole diaphragm, 1 m DIN cable) – variant with a different connection instead of the standard S7.

All three models operate in the pH range 0-14 and at temperatures of 0-60°C. 35 mm long glass shaft, Ag/AgCl reference system, polymer electrolyte (maintenance-free – no need to add electrolyte during operation). The models do not have a built-in temperature sensor.
