A photometer is an instrument used to measure the physical quantities that characterize light radiation. Photometer can be used in photometry, in spectrophotometry, in various lighting techniques and, for example, photography (light meter, exponometer, lux meter). In flame photometry, the photometer is used for spectral analysis of the flame.Depending on the choice of radiation beam, it is possible to measure a particular chemical substance. These devices are characterized by high reading accuracy and immediate measurement results. Depending on the purpose of the model, the photometers are used for testing water in swimming pools, for testing household cleaners, testing dishwasher additives or water treatment products. We also offer very advanced flame photometers. The photometers available on the market are mostly portable, lightweight devices that can be taken with you to the place of testing - for example, a fully equipped portable case with a photometer and all the reagents that are necessary during testing. Even portable devices are characterized by high accuracy and repeatability, and come in a wide variety of parameter configurations. For ease of use, the devices have a backlit display, waterproof design, and are extremely easy and intuitive to operate. The devices are simple to calibrate, the ability to change the unit in which the measurement is given provides convenience of use and receiving direct results in the unit in which older measurements were obtained, which makes it very easy to compare the obtained values and their changes. Devices can be equipped with so-called one-time zeroing functions - when testing a new sample, once zeroed the instrument automatically remembers the moment of zeroing and this provides a reference point for subsequent measurements. Many of the photometers available on the market are supplied ready for use with several / a dozen calibration curves and preprogrammed test methods. Some devices have as many as one hundred and dozens of test methods, making them extremely versatile devices. The devices have easy access to new test parameters and ranges, as additional test methods become available a new software update is available for free download from the manufacturer's website on our website. Many of the more advanced devices (portables too) have data storage and transfer capabilities - up to 1,000 readings with location ID, date and time taken. Measurement data stored in the device can be easily exported directly to Excel or .txt files. Feel free to contact our consultants to select the right photometer for your needs.
