EX-protected refrigeration cabinets are used for storing explosive and flammable materials, which are commonly used in chemical laboratories, industrial production or other specialized laboratories. Ex-protected refrigeration cabinets can also be used to work in places that are at risk of explosion. On the production floor, in laboratories next to such places, materials and substances are stored or used that are more prone to ignition or explosion. Such substances include, but are not limited to, flammable liquids like gasoline, thinners, alcohols or flammable gases like butane propane or hydrogen. Often, airborne dust can also cause a potential explosion hazard. In such a hazardous environment, the slightest energy stimulus - electrical sparks, mechanically generated sparks, electrostatic sparks or hot air - can become a source of ignition, lead to an explosion and cause immediate danger to the lives of workers. Such zones, where there is an imminent or potential danger of explosion, are called EX zones, and in such zones it is imperative to use equipment adapted to work in explosive conditions. The cabinets we offer have an anti-explosion interior, which means that only inside the device can substances that can explode be safely stored. Refrigeration cabinets with Ex protection operate in accordance with the safety standard of the EU Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95). EX protection protects against explosions that occur due to contact of flammable substances with air or other oxidizing substances in the appropriate concentration. In these units, to prevent the accumulation of loads on the shelves, they are made of safety glass. Units with electronic control come in two capacities - 141 and 340 liters.
