Alcohol Meter
An alcohol meter is a glass aerometer with an aerometric scale for measuring alcohol content expressed as a percentage by volume. The measurement is read using the bottom reading method, i.e. at the level of the free surface of the liquid in which the instrument is immersed. The full measuring range is 0-100% vol., and the instrument is available in ten narrower sub-ranges of 10% vol. for more accurate readings. The offer includes both alcohol meters and glass thermo-alcoholic meters.

Alcohol Meter Application
The alcohol meter is used to determine the alcohol content of liquids in distilling, spirits, winemaking and quality control laboratories for alcoholic beverages. The instrument floats freely in the liquid to be measured, and the immersion depth indicates the alcohol concentration on the aerometric scale. Narrower sub-ranges in 10% vol. increase the resolution of the reading when the sample to be determined is within a known concentration range. The thermometer version (thermoalcoholometer) allows you to simultaneously control the temperature of the sample, on which the density and thus the accuracy of the measurement depend.
The choice of variant depends on the expected alcohol concentration – the full range of 0-100% vol. covers the entire spectrum, and subranges every 10% by volume. provide a more accurate reading in a narrow range.
Other aerometers in Danlab's offer: alcohol meter-indicator, thermodensimeters and universal densimeters, thermodensimeter for mineral oils, sugar and thermosugar meter, school thermodensimeter, milk thermodensimeter, glycol thermodensimeter, lime milk densimeter, densimeter for soil sedimentation analysis, wine meter for home use, solometer and urometer.
