BIOPTIMA EXA is a class-leading biological safety cabinet designed to meet the highest safety, ergonomic, energy efficiency, reliability, and user-friendliness standards.
Features a very spacious working area in an elegant, compact design.
The front window of the cabinet is made of safety anti-reflective glass. Tilted at a 7-degree angle, it opens to a height of 200 mm, significantly enhancing ergonomics and work comfort. An additional advantage is the raised, corrosion-resistant, patented V-shaped armrest integrated with air intake grilles, which prevents blockage of the air intake holes.

  • Class II safety cabinets ensuring a high level of safety for products, humans, and the environment.
  • Compliance with standards: EN12469, NSF/ANSI 49 (Class II A2), JIS K3800, SFDA YY-0569, and AS2252.
  • Parameters controlled by a microprocessor controller.

  • G3 pre-filter compliant with EN 779, installed below the work surface, preventing dust, dirt, and particles from entering the HEPA filter, greatly extending the HEPA filter's lifespan (up to 7 years), and preventing possible damage to fans due to contamination entering the technical area (pipette tips, aluminum foil, etc.).
  • H14 HEPA filters in a V-shape, 9 units (BiOptima EXA 4) or 14 units (BiOptima EXA 6).

IT Configuration Telstar's solution for hospital pharmacies in applications that require the use of pharmaceutical compounding software. Most hospital pharmacies rely on software solutions that help them prepare doses, improve drug safety, and streamline pharmacy workflows. These software solutions may include online gravimetric (weight-based) verification, barcode reading, and automated electronic documentation of preparations. The IT configuration is the latest addition to the BiOptima laminar chamber family, designed specifically to meet the current needs of pharmacies. Designed and manufactured in accordance with EN 12469 and DIN 12980 standards, these devices are equipped with all the necessary hardware to seamlessly integrate into the daily routine of modern pharmacies or upgrade existing ones. The IT configuration is available for all sizes (4, 5, and 6) of the BiOptima models: One, Cyto, Exa, and BiOptima.
