Application of TB 300 IR Turbidity Meter

The TB 300 IR turbidity meter is designed to measure the turbidity of liquids using the nephelometric method. Compliance with EN ISO 7027 defines that the measurement is performed with diffused light at an angle of 90° with an infrared light source.

The infrared light source allows you to measure both colourless and coloured samples, which is an important feature that distinguishes this type of device from turbidity meters that use white light.

Autorange eliminates the need for manual range switching – the device selects the optimal range for the sample to be measured over the full range of 0.01 to 1100 NTU. The accuracy is ±2% of the reading (or ±0.01 NTU, whichever is greater) in the range of 0.01-500 NTU, and ±5% of the reading in the range of 500-1000 NTU.

The standard T-Cal calibration kit provides automatic adjustment of the overall measuring range. The internal memory for 1000 data sets allows the results to be stored directly in the device, and the RS 232 interface allows data transfer.
