Milk Composition Analyzer
The Miris milk composition analyzer is a compact device for determining the nutritional value of breast milk using infrared spectroscopy. In one test, it analyses fat, protein, lactose, lean and dry matter (in g/100 ml) and the result appears on the display after 60 seconds and can be transferred to a computer or USB stick. The analysis requires a sample volume of only 1-3 mL and is chemical-free, and the infrared measurement technology provides an accuracy of less than 0.1. The device has no moving parts and is optionally available for breast milk or cow's milk, which allows you to optimize the nutrition of the youngest patients.

Application of Milk Composition Analyzer
A milk composition analyzer is used in human milk banks and neonatal wards to assess the nutritional value of breast milk before it is administered to the smallest patients. Direct analysis of fat, protein, lactose and dry matter content allows you to tailor the nutrition of premature babies and newborns to their needs, basing decisions on specific results available after just a minute. A small sample volume (1-3 mL) and no chemical reagents simplify the day-to-day work of personnel, while infrared measurement with no moving parts reduces wear and tear and maintenance. The results can be archived in the device's memory or exported to a computer for further processing, for example in spreadsheets.
Other equipment for milk banks in Danlab's offer: pasteurizers, Miris sonicator, Sterifeed bottles, cap, Miris heater, POD 410 heater and neonatal bilirubin analyzer.
