The moisture analyzer is a laboratory measuring instrument designed to determine the relative humidity of small samples of various materials. The MA.R series sets new standards for moisture analyzers. The devices are equipped with a new easy-to-read LCD display, which has a new text information line allowing additional messages and information to be displayed, e.g. the name of the goods or the tare value. In addition, pictograms signal the activated operation mode, connection to a computer, weighing and service functions. The MA.R series is equipped with multiple communication interfaces: RS 232, USB type A, USB type B and optional Wireless Connection. The housing of the scale is made of plastic.
In the R-series moisture analyzers, the information system is based on 6 databases that allow multiple users to work with a database of multiple goods, and the measurements collected in the database can be further analysed. The maximum load of the moisture analyzer ranges from 50 g /0.1 mg to 210 g /1 mg. The moisture content is measured with an accuracy of 0.01% (0.001% for samples above 1.5 g). The maximum drying temperature of the sample is 160°C (a moisture analyzer with a maximum drying temperature of 250°C is an option). An additional element extending the functionality of the moisture analyzers is a special kit for testing water vapour permeability, used, among others, in the tanning industry when determining the hygienic properties of leather.
