STRIKE 100 vacuum evaporators

The STRIKE 100 vacuum evaporators are a series of Steroglass rotary evaporators designed for industrial plants to evaporate large quantities of substances. They are ideal for processing aggressive substances thanks to the use of boro-silicon glass and PTFE components. The devices operate in vacuum conditions and under atmospheric pressure. Turning 50 or 100 litre evaporative flasks in a temperature-controlled water bath results in forced convection and homogeneous decomposition of the product, preventing sedimentation. STRIKE 100 are characterized by a large evaporation surface and the sealing system guarantees perfect vacuum tightness and maintenance-free operation.

The line includes eight models differing in flask capacity (50 or 100 l), radiator type (upward or descending) and pickup configuration (1× or 2× 20 l).

Security system

The STRIKE 100 series evaporators protect the operator from any risks that arise during operation. The water bath is covered with a transparent cover for the highest protection against glass breakage and splashing at high temperatures. The water bath and the protective cover are lifted by means of an electronically controlled hydraulic system. An automatic system lowers the bath in the event of a power failure, opening of the cover or overheating.

Vacuum sealing system

The sealing system is made of a self-lubricating material that allows for perfectly tight evaporation and does not require any maintenance.

PLC and display

The controller is fully controlled by PLC, which allows you to control the parameters and also set them directly with the keys. The operator can obtain all process parameters by connecting the evaporator via serial communication to a PC with special data acquisition and management software installed. With the help of serial communication, it is also possible to control the device remotely. The controller allows you to create up to 20 "recipe" methods (the ATEX version does not have this capability). Control algorithms allow the evaporation, distillation or solvent separation process to be automatically terminated by reading the vapor temperature.

The display allows you to set and display process parameters. Any value error or anomalous temperature cuts off electricity. For the explosion-proof version of the STRIKE 100 ATEX, a glass LCD display with anti-glare coating is used.
