Available Models
The Liebherr SFFvh 5501 from the Perfection series is a laboratory freezer for labs that expect stable temperatures, complete documentation and minimal maintenance. Dynamic cooling with NoFrost technology prevents frost from forming on the walls and on sample packaging, so the unit never has to be switched off for defrosting. The operating range reaches -35°C, and the unit meets the requirements of DIN 13277 for laboratory freezers and freezers for storing medical products.
NoFrost: no frost and no downtime
A fan distributes cold air throughout the chamber and carries moisture to the evaporator. Defrost cycles start automatically when needed. Drawers do not freeze in place, labels stay legible, and the lab does not have to schedule downtime for defrosting. The maximum temperature fluctuation is 4.4 K. After the door has been open for one minute, the temperature returns to the set point in 17 minutes.
Documentation and connectivity as standard
The WLAN/LAN module is built in and removable. With no additional accessories, you can connect the unit to the SmartMonitoring system or to the building network. The integrated data logger records the temperature profile, which can be downloaded via USB. The freezer also stores the alarm history and min./max. values. The power failure alarm remains active for at least 12 hours. A potential-free contact allows it to be connected to an external alarm system. An optional PT1000 product sensor makes it possible to measure the temperature directly in the sample.
Organised interior
The chamber has 6 drawers, 2 wire baskets, 5 plastic-coated wire shelves (4 adjustable) and a floor grid. Each shelf holds up to 60 kg and has a usable area of 60 × 51 cm. LED lighting makes it easy to find samples. The unit is operated via a Touch & Swipe panel.
Everyday convenience
The door closes automatically. The handle is antibacterial and has an opening aid, and a mechanical lock with two keys protects the contents. The freezer stands on castors: the front ones have brakes and the rear ones are fixed, making it easy to move during cleaning. The unit is designed for 15 years of operation.
