SFFvh Perfection

Liebherr SFFvh 4001 Perfection – laboratory freezer with drawers, compliant with DIN 13277, 273 l, -9°C to -35°C

The SFFvh 4001 brings the features of the Perfection line to a narrow, freestanding cabinet just 60 cm wide. It is a good choice for laboratories that do not need a large volume but require standard compliance, temperature documentation and well-organised storage. Drawers make it easy to sort samples by project, user or category, and when one drawer is pulled out, the rest of the contents warm up less than with open shelves.

Organised drawer storage
The freezer has 6 drawers and 7 shelves, 6 of which are adjustable, with a floor grid at the bottom of the chamber. The shelves are made of plastic-coated wire, have a usable area of 42 × 40 cm and a load capacity of up to 45 kg. The white plastic interior is illuminated by an LED light. NoFrost technology with dynamic air circulation prevents ice from forming on drawers and walls, eliminating periodic defrosting and the need to relocate samples in the meantime.

DIN 13277 compliance and documentation
DIN 13277 sets out requirements and test methods for refrigerators and freezers used in laboratories and for storing medical products, and the SFFvh 4001 meets its criteria. A complete audit trail is ensured by:

• an integrated data logger with USB port,
• alarm history and min./max. temperature recording,
• an optional PT1000 product sensor for measuring a temperature closer to that of the material itself.

Connectivity and alarms
The built-in SmartModule with WLAN/LAN interface is removable. It allows the freezer to be connected to the Liebherr SmartMonitoring system or integrated into a local monitoring system. Visual and audible alarms signal temperature deviations. The power failure alarm is triggered immediately and remains active for at least 12 hours. A potential-free contact forwards the signal to the building management system.

Safety and ergonomics
The door is self-closing and has a mechanical lock with two keys. The antibacterial handle with an opening aid makes it easier to open the door against the vacuum that forms inside the freezer after it is closed. The door is factory-hinged on the right, but the opening direction can be reversed by the user. Touch & Swipe control and an external digital display allow the unit to be monitored without opening the chamber.

Energy savings
Units in the Perfection line are designed for low energy consumption. The SFFvh 4001 consumes 292 kWh per year (0.8 kWh per 24 hours), has a rated power of 230 W and uses the natural refrigerant R600a. With a noise level of 46 dB, it can be placed directly in rooms where people work.
