Handheld lunar refractometers are not much bigger than a flashlight and can be used anywhere in mobile applications. They are extremely easy to use, very durable and do not require batteries. The devices mainly differ in the scales to choose from, such as for determining salt content, water content in honey, serum protein content, Oechsle, Brix and potential alcohol content, and ethylene and propylene glycol content.
