Spherical round-bottomed flask, short neck

The short-necked spherical flask, with a rim, without cut, is made of high-quality white borosilicate glass and complies with the ČSN 70 4041 standard. It is resistant to hot water, acids and alkaline solutions, as well as to large pressure differences, thanks to which it allows reactions to be carried out both in high overpressure and vacuum conditions. The flask is used to prepare and store nominal solutions. It is available in six capacities from 50 to 2000 ml.

Application of Short Neck Spherical Round Neck Flask

The short-necked spherical spherical flask is used for the preparation and storage of solutions appointed in chemical, analytical and didactic laboratories. The round bottom allows the contents to be heated evenly above the canopy or heating jacket, and the short neck makes it easy to fill the flask and access its interior. Resistance to pressure differences allows the flask to be used both under overpressure and during evaporation or distillation under reduced pressure conditions. White borosilicate glass provides thermal and chemical resistance in contact with acids and alkaline solutions.
