OHAUS Heavy Duty vortex shakers feature heavy-duty construction and a top-quality motor to enable continuous accessory operation throughout the speed range. Digital models feature a timer and the precise speed control needed for applications requiring repeatable results. Non-digital, variable speed models are a more economical alternative. A wide range of accessories is available for microtubes, microplates and tubes of various sizes from 0.5 to 50 ml. They are ideal for preparing ELISAs, PCR slides, digestion or disrupting cell bonds.
Standard Features:
- Safe mixing at high speeds - the shaker's unique accessory locking design allows it to operate safely throughout the speed range
- For the most demanding applications, the shakers feature a high-quality German-made motor for continuous operation and an increased load capacity of up to 1.1 kg
- Robust digital and non-digital models offer effective speed control both at low rpm during gentle shaking and at high speeds during vigorous centrifugation of problematic samples
