LyoQuest -85 Arctic series freeze-dryers are a brand new laboratory device , which runs on ethane and propane, two natural gases that have an extremely low environmental impact and make the product ready for the upcoming and very strict regulations on the use of conventional HFC or HFO refrigerants.
LyoQuest -85 Arctic series freeze-dryers are high-end laboratory devices used in many scientific fields. There is a model available, with a temperature option: -85oC. The condenser chamber with a capacity of 8 kg allows for a single freeze-drying of a large batch of material. The special design of the condenser allows for quick and easy thawing and maintenance.
LyoQuest series devices, using LyoLogger software, have an option to export and read data, which allows easy analysis and archiving. A wide range of lyophilizer chambers and other accessories are available for LyoQuest series lyophilizers, depending on the methodology of the research being conducted.
Features:
- final condenser temperature: up to -85ºC;
- condenser made of AISI 316L, cylindrical construction;
- inside the condenser lack any elements that would make cleaning and disinfecion difficult;
- cooling and heating system of the condenser in the form of a spiral installed outside the condenser;
- possibility to freeze sample inside the condenser;
- capaity of the ice condenser: 8kg;
- capacity of the ie condenser for 24 hours: 6 kg ;
- air-cooled unit, ambient temperature <30°C;
- control with PLC touch screen display (Siemens) 5'' touch screen;
- on the display you can see:
- condenser temperature, vacuum value, process time, shelf temperature, alarms and events, editable programs;
- drain for removal of thawed condensate and vacuum connection located on the side wall of the freeze-dryer;
- Vacuum pump as a separate unit not installed inside the freeze-dryer with a flow rate of min. 8.1 m3/h;;
- two-stage oil vacuum pump;
- automatic control of vacuum level during freeze-drying process;
- final process vacuum: 2x10-2 mbar;
- pump operation is activated from the freeze-dryer controller;
- the condenser reaching a temperature of -40ºC allows the vacuum pump to start;

- Vacuum sensor with protection against damage;
- RS232 port to connect the unit to a computer;
