LabAirTec is a technically mature, safe and also easy-to-operate fume cupboard that guarantees a risk-free and comfortable working environment.

LabAirTec fume cupboards stand for safety in perfection and their performance indicators are far superior to those of DIN EN 14175.

The standard version has a Bypass system, which, thanks to the inlet slots, ensures laminar air flow and a constant rate of aeration of the fume cupboard interior.

The patented air extraction module increases the removal rate. The modules are easily removable which improves decontamination.

In addition, all control and monitoring functions, interface and bypass system are integrated into the frame.

The media drawer provides a high degree of safety for installation and use. The drawer ensures separation of the aerodynamic and installation parts.

It is possible to extend the standard version with additional options.

Technical specification:

Equipped with the S1 system:

- monitoring the correct air flow,
- microprocessor control of the unit,
- acoustic and visual alarms are given if the flow rate falls below the minimum limit value (alarms in accordance with EN 14175)
- equipped with an FM100 controller compliant with EN 14175
- has an intuitive control panel located in the right/left profile of the fume hood at eye level, which informs the user of correct or incorrect operation of the fume hood

The control panel consists of

- fume hood control on/off button
- a button to switch on/off the light in the chamber
- reset button to reset the acoustic alarm
- miniDIN port for PC connection
- red LED for low airflow alarm
- a green LED to indicate a correct airflow alarm
- a yellow LED to indicate an incorrect position of the front window
- in the event of a power failure, all system data is stored in the controller/s EEPROM
- airflow control via a static differential pressure sensor with a high level of stability
- fume hood equipped with Bypass system for near-turbulent air flow

Equipped with 2 x 230V electrical sockets (if required, the number of sockets can be easily increased - optional).

Equipped with polypropylene sink located on the back wall of the fume hood (optional installation of a ceramic, stainless steel sink in a convenient location for the user - by arrangement, 1 pc. without surcharge). BroenLab cold water spout.

Self-supporting fume hood structure. Construction elements made of aluminium profiles with a wall thickness of approx. 2 mm powder-coated with chemical-resistant epoxy paint.

The fume hood consist of a working chamber with a system of extraction columns, ceramic top with raised rim, front frame and LED lighting) and a space under the working top in which "standard" cabinets can be installed. It is possible to install other cabinets, e.g.: fire-proof or for storing reagents - optionally on request, e.g. from ASECOS).

"Standard" cabinets are made of 18 mm thick laminated board on both sides (colour: white W980 from the EGGER palette; other colours available upon agreement) with thickened structure; all edges of cabinets are finished with polypropylene PP edging (body: 1mm, fronts: 2mm); PP edging is glued with special PUR (polyurethane) glue which is not water-based, which eliminates the risk of unglueing and deformation of the edging under thje influence of undesirable humidity in the laboratory; doors in uder-counter cabinets are mounted on powder-coated tin hinges, 35mm in diameter and opening angle of 270 degrees, adjustable in three levels to ensure maximum adjustability and comfort; handles in cabinets are edged (other handles may be used at the user's request); cabinets are mounted on a beech plywood plinth in dar graphite colour.

It is possible to make polypropylene trays adapted in size to the dimensions of the cainet with a tray on wheels for easy storage of larger tubs.

The side profiles and the tabletop profile are closed profiles, designed to allow additional flow inside the profiles to promote airflow into the working chamber.

The working chamber is mainly made of board laminated on both sides; up to a height of approximately 30 cm, the rear wall is made of phenolic resin to facilitate cleaning of parts exposed to soiling; the air supply to chamber is provided both through a slot above the working surface and through bypass slots, which ensures air movement over the entire surface of the tabletop while eliminating dead zones in the working chamber and also prevents air backflow; a spigot made of non-combustible PPS with a diameter of 250mm is installed in the upper part of the working chamber for connection to the building ventilation ducts.

Illumination of the working area: LED panel (IP67) of at least 25W, positioned in the upper part of the working area (above the window); the light from the lamp is directed towards the interior of the working area, uniformly illuminating the entire surface of the worktop.

Fume hood window in a single aluminium frame, glazed with 4 mm thick multi-layer glass (glass-foil-glass); all glass edges are bevelled; sliding windows are guided on the principle of counterbalance using a system of steel cable on guide rollsm which allows the position of the window to be controlled and locked in a fixed position; window guiding system: guides, slides, structural elements, belts and gears, are hidden inside the side panels of the fume hood, and additionally made of chemically resistant materials (acid-resistant steel elements and polymers) and self-lubricating (polymers), which provides full protection against corossion; access to the window frame guiding mechanisms is without the need to move the fume hood away from the wall or out of the row, which ensures easy ervicing of maintenance of the mechanical elements placed in the fume hood.

Worktop made of monolithic cast ceramic with integrated raised edging on all sides (uniform sintering, without the use of any joints); shape of the worktop according to the cross-section of the working chamber (maximum use of the surface); thickness of the worktop 28 mm over the entire surface of the flat part and 35 mm including the raised edging; load capacity of the worktop: 200kg; surface of the worktop and all accessible edges of the worktop glazed.

The assembly of the fume hood includes its connection to existing connections such as the ventilation duct connected to a suitable fan (it is possible to optionally price and fit a suitable duct fan) and to the electrical supply close to the fume cupboard.
