The back up system provides optimal conditions for storing samples in the event of a long-term power outage or technical problems with the freezer.
Back up system in combination:
- With a cylinder filled with liquid CO2 can maintain a temperature of -67°C for many hours
- With a cylinder filled with liquid LN2 a temperature as low as -80°C
