• Greatly reduced sample preparation

Data collection is easy - just add the sample to the bottle, add the nitrification inhibitor and place the sensor head on the bottle. There is no need to dilute the sample or seed the sample. Concerns about air in the sample are eliminated because this is a respirometric test.

• Operators do not have to be present when the test is over

Measurements are automatically downloaded and stored at regular intervals and can be returned to at a convenient time.

• Easy and quick interpretation of measurement values

In addition to displaying sample results directly in mg/l BOD, the large integrated display is capable of displaying the BOD curve, making it easier to see and understand measurement data points and trends. In addition, each sensor head has an integrated LED. This allows operators to visually confirm for which sample the data is displayed and reduces potential confusion or errors in the sample data presented.

• Consistent measuring conditions

The auto-start function ensures that all measurements are taken at the same sample temperature. When measurement conditions are consistent across all readings, operators don't have to work around temperature or pressure deviations that skew results.

• Sample identification and tracking

The BD 600 interface makes it easy to assign an identification code or sample name when setting up a new sample. This helps keep track of the sample from the moment it is collected and ensures traceability when measuring the sample.
