Vacuum flasks with connection

Vacuum flasks with a stub are conical flasks with a side connection, used for filtration of various substances. They are made of high-quality white SIMAX borosilicate glass, compliant with ISO 6556, DIN 12476 and PN 70 0124 standards. They are resistant to hot water, acids and alkaline solutions. The side connection (connector) is available in plastic or glass versions, and the flasks are offered in five capacities from 100 to 2000 ml.

Application of vacuum flasks with a stub

Vacuum flasks with a stub are used for vacuum filtration in chemical, analytical and microbiological laboratories. The side connector allows the flask to be connected to the vacuum pump, so in combination with a Büchner funnel or other filter funnel, it speeds up the separation of the sludge from the filtrate. The conical, thick SIMAX borosilicate glass construction withstands the vacuum inside the flask during filtration, and the resistance to hot water, acids and alkaline solutions allows you to work with common reagents. By choosing a side connection – plastic or glass – you can match the connector to your hose and the way you work.
