Among the accessories for stirrers, there are magnetic stirrer removal rods. They are made of a magnetic core, which allows efficient removal of magnetic elements from liquids. They are often coated with PTFE, which provides them with high chemical resistance and easy cleaning. This group also includes the previously mentioned magnetic stirrers, which provide efficient mixing. They allow mixing different liquids in vessels in a non-contact manner. The principle of their operation is based on the variation of the magnetic field. They have a magnetic core (iron or steel), characterized by a high magnetic force, and a PTFE or polyethylene coating on it. They are otherwise known as dipoles. In order to use them, they should be placed in a laboratory vessel along with the liquid and put the whole thing on a magnetic stirrer. For long-term use of such elements, it is necessary to remember to store them properly. They should not be mixed with each other, nor should they be dropped on hard surfaces. If treated in the right way, they show a very long life. Also, observe the limits on their operating temperature and do not exceed the values recommended by the manufacturer.
