Bacterial colony counter Schuett Count

The Schuett Count manual colony counter is designed for reliable and efficient counting of bacterial and bacteriophage colonies cultured on Petri dishes of 60, 90 or 150 mm diameter (optional). High colony transparency was achieved by using an LED light source in the device with the ability to adjust the intensity of illumination according to the user's own preferences (three lighting modes). Contrast plates allow counting colonies on a light or dark background.
Accurate color reproduction makes it easy to distinguish differently colored cultures on selective culture media and nutrient discs in food analysis. For process water and wastewater, high-contrast illumination makes it easier to distinguish between colonies growing in agar and colonies growing on the agar surface.
Colony counting is done with a simple marker that is connected to the unit. The device also has a 4-digit LED display and a plastic-covered keyboard with a clear layout.
