The KF 29 Simple cold traps are designed for standard applications in conjunction with vacuum pumps where moisture or solvents in the chemical application area condense. The cold trap has a rim with which it can be hooked onto the support ring of the Dewar vessel. This ensures trouble-free and quick replacement.
The coolant (LN2 or CO2) should be at least 50°C colder than the condensation temperature of the substance.
