The conical bottom centrifuge tube is a non-twisted tube, made of high-quality SIMAX borosilicate glass according to ISO 3585, resistant to hot water, acids and alkaline solutions. The conical bottom allows even a small amount of high-density fractions to be easily collected after centrifugation. The tube is used for rapid centrifugation under laboratory conditions and is resistant to rupture during centrifugation. It is available in eleven variants with a diameter of 10 to 18 mm and a length of 75 to 180 mm.

Application of Conical Bottom Centrifuge Test Tube

The conical bottom centrifuge tube is used for centrifugal separation of slurries in analytical, diagnostic and research laboratories. The conical bottom concentrates the sediment at the narrowest point of the tube, which makes it easier to read the volume and take up even a small high-density fraction after centrifugation. SIMAX borosilicate glass in accordance with ISO 3585 is resistant to cracking under centrifugal loads and to hot water, acids and alkaline solutions. A wide range of diameters and lengths allows you to match the tube to the centrifuge rotor and sample volume.
