C1 static-jacketed calorimeters are highly automated and compact instruments. The device operates in accordance with DIN 51900 and ISO 1928 standards. Analysis of the temperature readings is performed using the classical isoperibolic method developed by Regnault Pfaundler.
The traditionally used and rather heavy calorimetric bomb dish has been replaced by a lightweight, easy-to-install combustion chamber. The instrument offers a wide range of interfaces (PC connector, socket for communication with a scale and printer), so it can be easily adapted to specific customer requirements. Calorimetric measurement software C 6040 CalWin (available separately) enables even greater development of measurement data management and LIMS capabilities. The C 1 1/10 kit includes the C 1 calorimeter (with standard C 1.10 combustion chamber) and RC 2 basic water cooler.
The product includes all parts necessary for its assembly and preparation for operation. IKA also supplies a range of consumables and spare parts, enough for about 500 experiments and 25 instrument calibrations. The C 1.10 combustion chamber has a holder for a large C 5010.5 crucible and a large C 6 quartz crucible.
