Sterilisation containers Bio-Barrier series
Biological barrier sterilisation containers are used for the sterilisation, storage and transport of implants, surgical instruments, surgical equipment and textiles. They consist of two main parts: the container and the lid.
The main parts of the container and lid are extruded in one piece from aluminium of quality 1050. No welding is used in the manufacture of the containers and lids. Decorative anodising is carried out to increase the resistance of the container and lid surfaces to external agents.
The lids are available in a variety of colours. They have holes on their surface to allow air to pass through, a silicone gasket on the inner edge provides a seal against air and water on the inside. The lid has spring locks on the inside to ensure the box locks into place.
On each side of the container there are compartments for attaching labels, carrying handles and locking elements through which a plastic, disposable security lock can be passed.
Accessories such as silicone mats, wire baskets and labels can be used with the containers.
The containers are manufactured in various sizes and types to suit customers.
Biological barrier models incorporate a mechanical filter system. Providing a conveniently removable lid, the mechanical valve system in the lid allows steam to enter and ensure sterilisation at a certain pressure. With this system, there is no need for any filters.
