The M-9 Mineralizer allows simultaneous mineralization of 9 samples in a short time. It is particularly suitable for performing analyses of water, wastewater, soils, waste and food. It is widely used in performing analyses of total nitrogen by the Kjeldahl method, organic phosphorus, determination of metal concentrations in different samples (mineralization proceeds under comparable conditions). The large operating temperature range also allows the detection of organic compounds in wastewater and soil (COD method).

MINERALIZATION OF WATER AND WASTEWATER SAMPLES
The maximum sample amount is 100 ml. Pour the measured amount of water or wastewater sample into the digestion vessel, insert a boiling rod into each sample tube and add the reagents needed for digestion. Set the temperature to 100°C on the controller and turn on the heating (pt. IV of the Mineralizer Operating Instructions). Put the fume extraction unit on the test tubes and turn off the water supply to the pump. When the system temperature reaches 100°C, set the desired mineralization temperature. When the mineralization is complete, turn off the system heating. In order to cool the sample faster, you can remove the test tube rack together with the fume extraction unit from the heating block. After the test tubes have cooled, turn off the water supply to the pump, remove the fume extraction unit and proceed with the further procedure prescribed by the analytical method. MINERALIZATION OF SEDIMENT AND SOIL SAMPLES
Transfer the weighed amount of the sample into the digestion vessel. Insert a boiling rod into each sample and add the appropriate amount of reagents used for mineralization. The maximum content must not exceed 100 ml. Set the temperature to 100°C on the controller and turn on the heating (point IV of the Mineralizer Operating Instructions). After the tubes have cooled down, disconnect the pump, you can proceed with further work according to the analytical methodology. Related standards: PN-74C-04578/OC
DETERMINATION OF ORGANIC COMPOUNDS CHZT.
To determine COD, you need a set of test tubes with coolers. Into the test tubes, measure the appropriate amount of sample, add reagents, insert boiling rods. Place the rack with test tubes in the heating block and put on the coolers. Set the necessary temperature and turn on the heating. After boiling is complete, rinse the condensate in the coolers with distilled water and cool the whole thing down. Related standards: PN-74C-04578/03
