The P1000-LED polarimeter is used by many companies and institutes for basic laboratory applications and training, such as the sucrose inversion experiment. The device measures optical rotation according to the half-shadow principle, and the measurement results are read through an eyepiece. A very high-efficiency LED is used, so the life is up to 2,000 times longer than traditional sodium lamps.
